Running to make clean water a human right
H2OPE Run Fest is a charity event. The name "H2POPE" is a play of words, combining of "H2O" and "hope". H2OPE signifies the hope that comes with clean water to these underprivileged people, and the hope to fulfill their basic needs. The aim is to raise funds for charity: water to provide underprivileged people with better access to clean and drinkable water. The H2OPE Run Fest will take place in Taylor's University Lakeside Campus. The run fest involves everyone above 15 years old as of the day of the event on 14th June 2014. There are two race categories, namely, the 5km Jerry Colour Run (Individual) and the 5km Jerry Colour Run (Couple). Each individual will receive a H2OPE Fun Run T-shirt and bib number. The t-shirt will be given upon the day of the race, starting from 6am to 7.30am. Participants are required to arrive one hour before the flag-off time for registration and briefing purposes. Those who want to learn more and also to register can click here. The "couple" category is not restricted to one male and one female only. It can also be two males or two females. For example it can be you and your mom/dad/sister/brother/friend/significant other/or your mom and dad, your brother and sister, I could go on forever, but hopefully you've gotten the idea long before this sentence has ended. Of course you and your running partner must be 15 years and above. Isn't that simple enough?
