Kao Yai Trail Marathon 2014

Run at the foothill of a Unesco World Heritage Site

I know there will be those in Malaysia who come 11th and 12th October 2014 will not be participating in either the BSN Putrajaya Night Marathon or the Standard Chartered Marathon, or both. Well for those individuals who want a different kind of challenge away from the hustle and bustle of city streets, there is the Khao Yai Trail Marathon. It is organized by the Race Hunter group who emphasis the "Run With Green" concept.  The event will start/finish at the Samuer Dao Khaoyai Resort, Pak Chong, Nakon Ratchasima, Thailand. The distances are: Marathon, Half Marathon, 10km and 3.5km fun run. The cut off time for the full marathon will be 8 hours. The course is mostly flat but covers enough terrain for anyone looking for a bit of a challenge. The trails will be on a marked route that run parallel to the national park featuring scenic tropical forest views with a chance of spotting wild animals such as Gaur, Deers, Birds, and Monkeys. It promises to give all runners breathtaking views and experience that will last a life time. Those wanting to know more or register can click here.
