Run through a Sabah tea plantation

Ranauthlon.14 is an inaugural trail run through the Sabah Tea Plantation, situated in Ranau, which is a 2-hour drive from Kota Kinabalu. The tea plantation itself is surrounded by tropical rainforest. The 10km, 15km and 21km trail will take runners from the north of the plantation to the south before looping back to the starting point. The terrain comprises of slopes, valleys, a small river and a major hill or two depending on your route. The view promises to be breath-taking, with Mount Kinabalu as the backdrop. This even is scheduled to take place on 25th October 2014. Participation will be limited to the first 500 confirmed registrations. Runner's entitlement includes event t-shirt, goodie bag, race number and timing chip, race day support and finisher medals. The early bird registration ends on 1st September 2014. The cut-off times for each category are as follows: 10km - 2.5 hours, 15km - 3 hours and 21km 3.5 hours. Those needing more information and also wanting to register can click here.
