Bali Marathon 2014

Circle that date on your calendar folks if you like running in Gianyar, Bali, for that is the new date of the Bali Marathon. The marathon returns for its third edition this year with the main sponsor yet again being Bank Internasio9nal Indonesia (BII). As in previous editions, there will be three categories - a full marathon, half marathon and a 10km run. The organizers have secured certification for the full and half marathon routes, which are endorsed by the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS). More than 2,000 runners from 43 countries took part in the first ever race in 2012, with 3,000 from 46 countries participating last year.  Runners came from as far as Kenya, the United States and countries throughout Asia.
