Paradise Run
Am sure it is every runners' dream to run in paradise. Who would have thought that paradise is actually near our own doorstep. Well, it's a plane ride away, or two. However judging from what I have seen of the 3km stretch of Bang Tao Beach, I know I will be running in paradise soon. Laguna Phuket International Marathon 2014 is held on 8th June 2014. It is one of those runs where runners can truly have a runcation. The start time is 4.30am and the cut off is a very touristy 7.5 hours. This is the sort of run to bring the whole family to. The kids can do the 2km run. Gramps can do the 5km walk (2 hours cut-off). The rest of the family can choose to do either the 10.5km run (2.5 hours cut off) or the half marathon (4 hours cut off).
